Looking for a programme in golf education?

With new Government Legislation from the Department For Education requiring all students to remain in education until the age of 18, we have the perfect platform to deliver all the golf education programmes required to leave students with endless possibilities within the golfing industry or life outside of golf.

Students at the golf college are able to combine their Golf Education with a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sport if under the age of 19, or complete our Golf Development Programme if over 18.

Upon completion of either programme, students will then have the following opportunities:

  • Continue to university in the UK

  • PGA Golf Foundation Degree in the UK

  • Golf Industry Employment

  • Tournament Golf Professional

  • Elite Amateur Golfer

To qualify for golf education you must have a recognised CONGU handicap and be enthusiastic about developing your future within golf. The qualification you will receive on completion of your course is a BTEC Diploma in Sport, which is the equivalent to 3 A-Levels.

There are a maximum of 30 golf education slots available annually at the Golf College. We run frequent taster days and weeks to get you started, so you can find out what we’re like and how the courses will run. Full annual tuition intake is done every September to coincide with the academic year.

Students in golf education will also have the opportunity to retake Maths or English GCSE’s.
